Java Tech Lead

Lead architecture and development of enterprise Java applications with full lifecycle responsibility including technical design, implementation, and system evolution.

Provide technical leadership and guidance across distributed teams, supporting modernization of legacy forensic systems ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture stakeholders to deliver robust solutions aligned with forensic operational and compliance requirements.

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (MCA or Bachelor’s degree).

Extensive experience: 8+ years hands-on enterprise Java development (Java 11/17, Java EE/Jakarta EE).

Proven experience in software architecture and product development in regulated or complex operational environments such as Forensics or LIMS.

Experience with DevOps practices and tools including Git, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Docker, Maven/Eclipse Tycho.

Senior-level Java technical lead with 8+ years in global or enterprise projects, including architecture and hands-on development.

Experienced working in regulated, complex domains (e.g., Forensics, Laboratory Information Management Systems) with emphasis on compliance and operational process alignment.

Skilled in collaborating across distributed teams (UK, Europe, nearshore, offshore) within Agile/Scrum frameworks and integrating DevOps practices.
