Lead architecture and development of enterprise Java applications focused on forensic software systems used in criminal justice.
Own full lifecycle delivery including technical design, implementation, and system modernization ensuring robust, scalable, and compliant solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams (UK, Europe, nearshore, offshore) to support onboarding, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience on global or enterprise projects.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MCA or Bachelor’s degree).
Experience with Java 11/17, Java EE / Jakarta EE, PostgreSQL, WildFly, Eclipse RCP, and DevOps tools like Git, Azure DevOps, Docker.
Experience working in regulated or complex operational environments such as Forensics or LIMS.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in enterprise software architecture with strong design skills applying principles like SOLID, Clean Code, and modularization.
Demonstrated ability to evolve legacy systems and build new platforms with scalable, high-performance backend and client applications.
Proven track record of working in distributed Agile teams collaborating across multiple delivery centers and interfacing between business and IT.
