Lead the forward deployment engineering team in Chennai, driving continuous integration, automated testing, and secure, automated application deployments.
Perform approximately 70% hands-on coding and configuration including test automation, application containerization, dependency and runtime upgrades, and deployment process automation.
Implement and oversee best practices for source control, security, observability, exception handling, and resilient multi-datacenter deployment architectures.
Minimum Requirements
12+ years of relevant experience including application development and management, with experience managing global technology teams.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred.
Strong proficiency in JVM languages and optionally TypeScript, with highest quality coding skills and hands-on experience in test-driven development (TDD).
Competent with Docker, OpenShift, Linux (RedHat), build automation tools (Gradle, Maven, npm), and secure coding practices; familiarity with Spring framework and Ansible is advantageous.
