Lead design and development of scalable, high-performance full stack web applications enhancing Walmart’s e-commerce front-end platforms such as Homepage, Search & Browse, and Item pages across mobile and web.
Own end-to-end feature delivery including ideation, prototyping, deployment, production monitoring, and performance optimization using profiling tools and crash analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams; drive technical excellence through code reviews, design sessions, mentoring, and continuous improvement in processes and tools.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of professional full stack web development experience required.
Proficient in front-end (HTML5, CSS3, JS, TS, React/Angular/Next.js) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Express.js, or Rust).
Experience with GraphQL APIs, RESTful services, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 3 years experience OR 5 years experience in software engineering; Master's degree preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building modular, secure, scalable distributed systems in high-traffic e-commerce or similar environments (fintech, SaaS).
Strong background working within Agile teams; adept at integrating modern technologies including AI-powered development tools and SEO best practices.
Capable of leading technical excellence initiatives and mentoring junior engineers, with practical experience troubleshooting complex production systems using observability platforms like OpenObserve.
