Principal Platform & Application Security Engineer

Own the remediation and validation process converting prioritized security exposures into verified risk reductions across code, cloud, platform, and network components.

Design and implement a Safe Action Framework enabling controlled, reversible remediation automation with governance, rollback, and validation mechanisms.

Perform secure code reviews and coordinate with product, platform, and service owners to ensure accountable actions and closure of security risks.

7+ years of experience in application security, platform security, or security engineering with hands-on remediation and software delivery experience.

Proficiency in production Python development including building tested integrations, remediation tools, and APIs for enterprise applications.

Deep knowledge of application and API security, including vulnerability tracing, root cause analysis, and validation of remediation effectiveness.

Experience with platform remediation across WAF, network, cloud, containers, Kubernetes, OS, CI/CD, secrets management, and infrastructure as code tools.

Strong engineering orientation with ability to contribute production-grade Python code and automation to security remediation workflows.

Experience balancing security, availability, and operational impact in complex platform environments involving cloud, containers, and CI/CD.

Demonstrated skill in delivering secure, reversible automated remediation with governance, approvals, and rollback in production environments.
