Design and build scalable backend services for subscriptions, payments, and user entitlements using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain high-performance REST APIs and microservices supporting Fire TV In-App Purchase workflows and transaction processing.
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance to handle high throughput and traffic spikes including event-driven asynchronous workflows.
Minimum Requirements
4-7 years of backend engineering experience with strong Java and microservices development skills.
Proficient with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous processing.
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Redis, Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms, and cloud platforms like AWS.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and strong production debugging and performance optimization skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in independently designing and delivering scalable and distributed backend services for high-traffic consumer systems.
Hands-on expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven system design, focusing on idempotent transaction processing and eventual consistency.
Comfortable working on large-scale subscription and payment ecosystem integrations involving external platforms and app stores.
