Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications focused on subscriptions, payments, and entitlement management using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React or similar frameworks.
Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices supporting Fire TV In-App Purchase workflows including purchases, renewals, cancellations, and entitlement synchronization.
Ensure high performance, reliability, low latency, and resilience of consumer-facing systems during high traffic events through robust design, monitoring, and failure-handling mechanisms.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of software engineering experience with strong system design and architecture skills.
Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks like React or Next.js.
Experience with microservices, distributed systems, SQL/NoSQL databases, and exposure to Redis caching.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and preferably Kafka for messaging/event streaming.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building large-scale, high-concurrency, consumer-facing applications requiring high availability and low latency.
Capable of driving complex technical implementations end-to-end and mentoring other engineers.
Comfortable working in a collaborative environment involving backend, frontend, product, and platform teams to deliver integrated subscription and payment features.
