Own product strategy, roadmap, and technical direction for Motor Control Unit (MCU) platforms focusing on features, performance, safety, cybersecurity, and connectivity.
Define multi-year product vision, create 2-3 year roadmaps and quarterly release plans balancing new features, improvements, and technical debt.
Drive architecture definition (hardware, software, algorithms, communication, diagnostics), customer engagement, and cross-functional alignment for market-winning MCU products.
Minimum Requirements
15+ years experience in motor control systems, power electronics, or embedded systems for automotive/industrial applications.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering.
Strong knowledge of motor control principles (BLDC, PMSM, induction motors) and real-time embedded systems including microcontroller architectures (Infineon, NXP, TI, Renesas).
Experience with ISO 26262 Functional Safety (ASIL C/D), embedded C, real-time OS, AUTOSAR, requirements tools (e.g. DOORS), and vehicle communication networks (UDS, ISO 14229).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced product leader combining deep motor control expertise with hardware-software co-design knowledge in automotive or industrial sectors.
Proven ability to translate market/customer inputs into prioritized product roadmaps and lead cross-functional teams.
Familiar with competitive benchmarking on algorithms, control loops, EMI/thermal performance and skilled in interfacing with key customers, OEMs, and partners.
