About This Role
- Develop embedded software solutions and automation tools using C/C++ and Python for connected vehicle and data collection platforms.
- Design, implement, and lead deployment processes and operational guidelines for vehicle and cloud-based software including OTA updates and device lifecycle management using Mender.
- Own technical decisions, conduct design and code reviews, and lead troubleshooting and issue resolution during software deployment activities across vehicle and cloud ecosystems.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in embedded software development or related fields.
- Proficient in C/C++ embedded development and Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks programmatic integration (Python/C++), OTA deployments, Mender, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Linux development, basic network topology, and IT security fundamentals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in connected vehicle software platforms or automotive data collection and integration.
- Comfortable leading software deployment readiness, release approvals, and operational support involving cloud and vehicle ecosystems.
- Exposure or familiarity with automotive protocols (CAN, Ethernet), vehicle OS, and software-defined vehicle concepts is advantageous but not mandatory.
