Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Support day-to-day operations of Infrastructure & Cloud Security Governance for Verizon's GTS Enterprise Network, including stakeholder engagement and dotted-line leadership.
Automate and improve security governance reporting dashboards, scorecards, and maturity models to quantify and reduce cyber risks, working closely with Verizon India team.
Collaborate on design and alignment of on-premises network, data centers, cloud environments, and zero trust; participate in incident response, penetration testing, and executive reporting.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience required.
Minimum four years of relevant experience including information security, network technology, or technical risk analysis.
At least three years experience with scripting/programming for automation, data parsing, API interactions, and custom tool development.
Work Experience Required: Four or more years of relevant experience
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in cybersecurity governance within large enterprise network environments with cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
Technically skilled in automation scripting for security operations and familiar with network security tools (e.g., Splunk, Elasticsearch, Ansible).
Able to mentor and lead analysts/engineers, develop training programs, and communicate strategic security goals to executives.
