Own end-to-end design, development, deployment, and support of data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure Data Platform in an Agile and DevOps environment.
Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines and frameworks using Azure technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DB/DW, and Microsoft Fabric components.
Lead solution craftsmanship including security, availability, resilience, and mentor peers on Azure data platform skills.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Econometrics, or related discipline.
9-15 years of total experience with at least 3 years hands-on experience on Azure Data Platform mandatory.
Hands-on skills required: T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure SQL DB/DW, Azure Data Bricks (Python/Scala), Power BI development and publishing.
Intermediate-level hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components such as Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, ADLS Gen2, Notebooks, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Delta tables.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong expertise in SQL optimization, complex transformations, and performance tuning with a focus on scalable distributed data processing (PySpark, Delta Lake).
Experience building reusable frameworks and implementing CI/CD using DevOps tools like TFS and Azure Repos in data analytics solutions.
Comfortable working collaboratively in Agile teams with strong communication skills to understand and translate business logic into data solutions.
