Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Develop and own platform software for 10G to 400G interfaces, board bring-up, and platform infrastructure including chassis, line card, fabric, and optics.
Work with JunOS or Junos Evolved software architectures for product development in the platform area.
Collaborate with system/solution test teams to ensure high-quality delivery and provide engineering support to customer escalations alongside Technical Assistance Team.
Minimum Requirements
BTech or MTech degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant platform software development.
Strong knowledge in data networking protocols like TCP/IP, Ethernet, Routing, and proficiency in device drivers and system bring-up on FreeBSD/Linux.
Onsite work requirement from an HPE office location.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in software development for networking products with deep understanding of hardware interfaces (Optics, PCIe, SPI, I2C, Retimers, FPGA, CPLD, MDIO, Flash Driver).
Skilled in C/C++ programming, object-oriented design, data structures, and system debugging with exposure to JunOS environments.
Able to engage closely with cross-functional teams and customer technical support to resolve critical issues and ensure product quality.
