Develop, enhance, and maintain IBM mainframe-based applications including COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, and CICS.
Own end-to-end delivery of solutions within Agile SCRUM teams, including development, testing automation, code reviews, and documentation.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and peers to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Minimum Requirements
3-5 years of software development experience with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, and CICS.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience working in Agile teams with tools like Jira and DevOps.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in full lifecycle application development on mainframe systems, including deployment and production support.
Capable of taking complete ownership of product features within Agile SCRUM environments, utilizing DevOps mindset.
Technical versatility combining legacy mainframe skills with modern practices including CI/CD and cloud familiarity (especially GCP).
