Drive reliability, resiliency, and operational excellence across critical platform and application services using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
Lead and deliver moderately complex initiatives, including large scale planning, technical design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation within a core platform domain.
Serve as escalation point and provide guidance to less experienced staff while resolving technical challenges to meet client needs.
Minimum Requirements
4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Deep expertise in at least one platform domain such as Database, Cloud, Network, Compute/Storage, Middleware, or Enterprise Application Support.
Proven experience in SRE practices including SLI/SLO definition, error budgets, reliability metrics, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed production systems.
Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell; experience with observability tools like Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, or equivalents.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced senior engineer with a strong background in SRE, platform engineering, or production support focused on improving stability and scalability in enterprise environments.
Skilled in hybrid on-prem and cloud operations with knowledge of capacity management, performance engineering, resiliency design (HA, fault tolerance, RTO/RPO), and infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Proven leadership ability mentoring engineers and driving technical debt remediation and operational excellence through structured backlogs and modern engineering practices.
