Develop and maintain platform software for next generation 5G networking products covering board bring-up, interface drivers (10G to 400G), and platform infrastructure such as chassis, line card, fabric, and optics.
Deliver software components within JunOS or Junos Evolved architecture ensuring high product/solution quality in coordination with system and solution test teams.
Provide engineering support to Juniper Technical Assistance Team for critical customer escalations and deployment issues.
Minimum Requirements
BTech or MTech degree in CS/CE or related field with 5+ years of professional experience.
Strong expertise in data networking protocols including TCP/IP, Ethernet, and routing technologies.
Proficiency in C and C++ programming, device drivers, system bring-up, and FreeBSD/Linux internals.
Onsite work from HPE office is mandatory; prior experience with networking product development preferred but not mandatory.

Experienced software engineer focused on embedded platform software development for high-speed networking hardware products.
Demonstrated ability in low-level system software including firmware and hardware interfacing (e.g., PCIe, SPI, I2C, Optics).
Comfortable working closely with testing and customer support teams to deliver robust, customer-ready solutions.
