Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, fault-tolerant data ingestion pipelines and production data interfaces from diverse sources including SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, APIs, and legacy systems.
Develop reusable, version-controlled data platform components, APIs, and data handling services following CI/CD and automated testing best practices in a global data engineering environment.
Establish and operate comprehensive data quality management, monitoring, and reporting frameworks with integration into orchestration and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with cybersecurity and IT teams to ensure compliance and security.
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
5–8 years of software development experience with inbound/outbound data exchange interfaces, including APIs and Change Data Capture (CDC).
Hands-on expertise with Scala/Java, Python, advanced SQL, Git, and CI/CD methodologies.
Experience with Azure or other hyperscaler resource management; familiarity with data lake and data warehousing concepts; Databricks and Azure knowledge a plus.

Strong backend/software engineering background (Java, Scala, distributed systems) aiming to specialize in data platform engineering.
