Lead and grow the engineering teams for Nielsen's Databricks-based data and AI platform, directly managing Data Platform and AI/Data Engineering teams.
Translate executive strategy into a unified roadmap integrating GenAI, data engineering, platform governance, and FinOps, ensuring coordinated delivery and risk management.
Own people leadership, delivery accountability, budget and FinOps stewardship, and serve as the primary escalation and executive stakeholder contact for the combined Databricks programs.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years in data/software engineering with at least 3 years managing senior engineering leads or managers in delivering large-scale data/AI platforms.
Strong working knowledge of Databricks ecosystem: Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Workflows, SQL with ability to evaluate architecture and coach leads.
Working understanding of GenAI application patterns including LangChain, vector databases, and governed AI enablement.
Work Experience Required: 10+ years in data/software engineering; specific notice period not mentioned.
