About This Role
- Build, operate, and scale eBay's CI/CD infrastructure including Jenkins, Tekton, plugin ecosystems, telemetry, and storage supporting thousands of pipelines daily.
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices (Java/Spring Boot) and distributed systems enhancing pipeline scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Drive automation, modernization, and operational excellence across development and production environments with strong regional engineering ownership.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in Java backend technologies with strong Spring Boot skills.
- Extensive hands-on experience operating Jenkins at scale including masters, agents, plugins, upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Practical experience with Tekton or cloud-native pipeline orchestration and Kubernetes/cloud-native infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, file systems, storage architectures, and related telemetry, monitoring, and automation tools.

- Experienced platform engineer comfortable with end-to-end ownership of CI/CD and distributed system architecture, development, and operations.
