Administer and maintain VMware vSphere environments including ESXi, vCenter Server, and related virtualization technologies, ensuring high availability and performance.
Manage enterprise datacenter infrastructure, including server hardware (Dell, HPE), SAN/NAS storage, and datacenter operations to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
Provide L2/L3 support across Windows and Linux server environments, enterprise backup and disaster recovery systems, and support cloud infrastructure initiatives (Azure/AWS).
Minimum Requirements
5-7 years of experience in IT system administration or similar role.
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere administration and enterprise datacenter operations.
Strong Windows Server and Linux server administration skills, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
Experience with enterprise storage management (SAN/NAS), backup solutions (Veeam or Commvault), and disaster recovery technologies; experience with Azure/AWS infrastructure.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in operating and troubleshooting complex multi-site virtualization and datacenter environments with a focus on availability and performance.
Proficient in automation scripting using PowerShell, PowerCLI, Bash, or Python to optimize infrastructure management.
