Lead and grow the engineering teams responsible for Nielsen's Databricks-based data and AI ecosystem, managing Data Platform and AI/Data Engineering teams.
Translate executive strategy into a unified roadmap integrating GenAI, data engineering, platform governance, and FinOps to drive shared business value.
Own people leadership, delivery accountability, budget and FinOps stewardship, and serve as the main escalation point for executive stakeholder engagement across teams.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years in data/software engineering with at least 3 years managing engineering leads, managers, or senior individual contributors.
Strong working knowledge of Databricks ecosystem components including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Databricks Workflows, and Databricks SQL.
Working understanding of GenAI application patterns such as LangChain, vector databases, and Databricks Genie.
Experience in people management, program and delivery management (OKRs, roadmaps), and cloud/platform budget ownership including FinOps.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced leader capable of integrating cross-functional teams and translating technical trade-offs into executive-level narratives.
