Characterize subsurface drilling hazards and assess their impact on well design and operations, delivering hazard assessments throughout the Well Delivery Process.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Drilling Engineering, Asset Development, Petrophysics, G&G Operations) to develop and implement hazard mitigation strategies.
Perform real-time geological surveillance during drilling, ensure compliance with G&G Ops standards, and support post-well reviews and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
Masters degree in Earth Science disciplines (Geology, Geophysics) or Petroleum Engineering or equivalent Engineering discipline.
5-10 years of pertinent industry experience including seismic interpretation and well data analysis.
Direct experience with seismic interpretation, mapping, and well data analysis is mandatory.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in G&G Operations with 2D/3D seismic interpretation using Petrel and well data analysis software such as Techlog, Geolog, or RokDoc.
Proven ability to work across functions including drilling, completions, reservoir, and production engineering teams to mitigate subsurface hazards.
Strong background in subsurface hazard identification, pore pressure geomechanics, geosteering, and understanding of impacts on drilling operations.
