Job Description
Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Lead design and architectural development of satellite broadband network systems ensuring performance, stability, and security.
Provide level 4 operational support and troubleshooting for network operations centers, escalations from level 1 and 2.
Create and manage detailed Statement of Work (SOW) documentation collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams for project success.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar plus at least 5 years network and/or systems experience.
Expert-level knowledge of Satellite Broadband systems including iDirect (Evolution, Velocity, Dialog), Gilat SkyEdgeIIc/SkyEdgeIV, Comtech Heights, HughesNet Jupiter 3.
Experience with L3 and L4 NOC support and deploying global VSAT networks and hub systems.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%; ability to perform physical hardware support tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong technical leadership capability focused on lifecycle system integrity in satellite broadband networks.
Deep expertise in satellite system hub components, VSAT terminals/antennas, and IP routing/switching protocols relevant to telecom.
Experienced in cross-team collaboration, detailed SOW creation, and mentoring junior engineering and operations team members.
