Job Description

Lead silicon validation and bring-up for Snapdragon SoC focusing on SVE convex infrastructure and IST framework to enable VI content in production.
Own and execute SoC frequent regression testing including end-to-end regression suites considering power and performance design corner cases.
Perform bench validation releases, debug support and feature enablement using silicon debug hooks and collaborate with validation and system content teams for issue reporting.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years ASIC design, verification, validation, integration experience or higher degree with less experience accordingly.
Strong expertise in processor architecture including multicore/multiprocessor systems with SMP, MTE, heterogeneous cores.
Proficient in C and Assembly language programming, OS/RTOS/Linux kernel internals including scheduling, locking, MMU/paging.
Experience with JTAG debuggers, compilers/linkers, and software development lifecycle; exposure to emulation/pre-silicon environment is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in silicon validation and software development for silicon enablement, particularly for hardware-software bring-up on FPGA/emulation and fresh SoC designs.
Strong understanding of SoC architecture including interconnects, power management, and processor memory systems (ARM Cortex-A7/A8, x86, PowerPC).
Skilled in using low level programming and debugging tools to improve power/performance KPIs and familiar with multi-threaded application performance optimization.
