About This Role
- Develop and program automation logic using Valmet DNA/MCS for projects in pulp, paper, and packaging industries.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to plan and execute software delivery aligned with contract and quality requirements.
- Support factory testing, commissioning, customer start-ups, troubleshooting, and optimize software and hardware applications, including site visits in India and internationally.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 4-7 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in pulp, paper, board, packaging, or related process industries.
- Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS systems (Siemens, ABB, Allen-Bradley, Valmet DNA) including control logic development and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, understand industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC), and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

- Experienced in end-to-end automation project lifecycle: system design, software development, testing, commissioning, and customer start-ups.
- Operates effectively in multidisciplinary, international teams dealing with complex automation challenges in process industries.
- Has proven ability to manage project delivery milestones, quality standards, risk, and customer satisfaction in automation projects.
