Principal, Technical Program Manager

Lead the execution and delivery of large-scale software development programs for Walmart Global Tech’s multi-billion dollar eCommerce platforms, focusing on scalability, robustness, and security.

Drive quarterly planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration while managing program scope, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams and international locations.

Own program documentation, establish operational excellence frameworks, and ensure alignment with organizational standards and business objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

15+ years technical experience with 8+ years as a Technical Program Manager in software delivery managing aggressive schedules and significant business impact.

Deep understanding of system/platform design, architecture, APIs, and user experience concepts.

Experience with project management methodologies, tools (JIRA, JIRA Align), and strong communication skills.

Experienced in managing large, complex global technology programs with multiple interdependent workstreams and stakeholders.

Strong technical acumen combined with the ability to interface effectively between technical teams and business stakeholders internationally.

Skilled in program planning, risk mitigation, resource capacity allocation, and simplifying complexity for executive buy-in.
