Staff SW Test Development Engineer

Lead software requirements and design reviews, including creation and execution of software verification plans and risk analyses for commercial medical products.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for software, execute test protocols, analyze failures, and report detailed validation results to management.

Ensure compliance with internal development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures in line with medical and security regulations, adapting protocols as requirements change.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required; Masters with 5-7 years or PhD with 2-4 years of equivalent industry experience also accepted.

8-12 years related experience or relevant advanced degree experience as above.

Experience developing automated test scripts using Java and Python and working knowledge of mobile operating systems iOS and Android.

Experience with mobile automation tools (Android Studio, ADB, Xcode, Appium), GIT, Jira, defect life cycle, and manual testing methodologies.

Experienced in software testing and automation for complex mobile and medical software in regulated environments.

Skilled at leading verification activities including risk analysis, root cause analysis, and compliance documentation under medical device software standards.

Capable of collaborative problem solving and managing evolving test protocols alongside cross-functional engineering teams.
