Define and lead end-to-end validation strategy for optical coherent pluggable transceivers and transponder products to ensure carrier-class quality.
Plan and execute system-level, feature-level, and regression testing using white-box and black-box methods across hardware, ASIC, firmware, and software layers.
Lead root cause analysis of field/customer issues and improve test automation strategy for scalable and maintainable validation frameworks.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
Minimum 5 years experience in validation of optical telecom products.
Must have strong domain expertise in Coherent Optics, Transponders, and standards such as OTN (G.709), Ethernet (100G/400G/800G), and CMIS.
Hands-on experience with optical test equipment and proficiency in Python, preferably with pytest-based automation frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in testing carrier-grade embedded systems in cross-functional, Agile environments within optical telecom domain.
Skilled in collaborating with cross-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams involving hardware, optical, ASIC, firmware, and software engineers.
