Job Description
Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and batch job workflows for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis in a Regulatory Reporting context.
Manage and monitor daily production job schedules with an emphasis on timely failure resolution to minimize operational impact, preferably using Control-M.
Utilize Hadoop ecosystem tools to process and analyze large datasets, perform data validation and reconciliation, and troubleshoot data and operational issues.
Minimum Requirements
4 to 6 years of relevant Data & Analytics experience.
Hands-on experience with SQL and job scheduling/monitoring tools, preferably Control-M.
Working experience and good understanding of Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
Location requirement: Chennai, India; Language proficiency: English C2 Proficient.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in operating within Investment Banking or Capital Risk regulatory reporting environments is implied but not explicit.
Comfortable working independently as well as in cross-functional teams, indicating ability to handle both autonomous and collaborative responsibilities.
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus, indicating adaptation to iterative and structured development processes.
