Lead CPU software–hardware co-design efforts for next-generation QMX CPU architectures focusing on machine learning workloads.
Analyze and optimize ML workload performance through workload characterization, simulation using QEMU, bottleneck analysis, kernel optimization, and benchmarking.
Collaborate with CPU architecture teams to provide data-driven insights and influence architectural enhancements and develop highly optimized ML kernels and libraries integrated with ML frameworks.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years software engineering experience; OR Master's degree with 7+ years; OR PhD with 6+ years.
4+ years programming experience in C/C++ (mandatory).
Experience with performance profiling, benchmarking, and optimization.
Location: Bangalore or relevant location.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in CPU architecture, system-level programming, and machine learning workload optimization for CPU platforms.
Proficient with QEMU or equivalent simulators, ML kernel development (GEMM, convolution, attention), and low-level optimizations (SIMD/vectorization, memory tuning).
Capable of cross-functional collaboration with CPU architecture, systems, and AI teams to drive hardware and software co-design decisions.
