About This Role
- Install, configure, and maintain Datacom and DB2 environments on IBM z/OS including upgrades, migrations, patching, and disaster recovery.
- Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshoot complex system issues to ensure minimal business impact.
- Manage security, backup/recovery, compliance requirements and automate operational procedures using JCL, REXX, and related system tools while collaborating with related technical teams and supporting 24x7 operations.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years experience as a Mainframe Datacom/DB2 System Programmer.
- Strong expertise in CA Datacom administration and IBM DB2 for z/OS system programming including installation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with DB2 Connect, IBM Data Studio, and understanding of z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and database utilities.
- Work Experience Required: 7+ years experience explicitly mentioned.
