Manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) for z/OS and IBM MQ environments across development, test, and production systems.
Administer MQ Queue Managers, Queue Sharing Groups, Sysplex environments, and Coupling Facility for high availability and performance, including troubleshooting complex WAS and MQ issues.
Develop automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency, implement security controls, and participate in 24x7 on-call support and incident management.
Minimum Requirements
6 to 10 years of experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server for z/OS administration and IBM MQ support.
Strong expertise in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IBM MQ, including Queue Sharing Groups and Coupling Facility.
Experience with monitoring and optimization tools such as OMEGAMON, MQ Explorer, Tivoli Monitoring, SYSVIEW, BMC MainView.
Work Experience Required: 6 to 10 years in relevant mainframe WAS and MQ administration environments.
