Design, build, and maintain integration layers, including APIs, event-driven architectures, and secure file-based exchanges supporting real-time and batch integrations across multiple enterprise platforms.
Develop and manage API gateways for scalability, governance, throttling, and secure connectivity, embedding security and compliance measures into all integrations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, collaborating with architects and business system owners to create reusable integration frameworks and patterns.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of experience in integration engineering focused on API design, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native integration.
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Workato including advanced recipe design, API platform management, and custom connector development using Workato Connector SDK.
Expertise in API technologies (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), event-driven systems (Azure EventBus/Event Hubs, Kafka, RabbitMQ), and secure file-based integrations (SFTP, managed file transfer).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in financial services or asset management ecosystems integrating OMS, ABOR/IBOR, risk/compliance platforms, HR/ERP, and CRM systems.
Strong technical leadership in building scalable, secure, and reusable integration architectures with deep expertise in Workato and related middleware platforms.
Demonstrated ability to apply data governance, security-first integration principles (OAuth2, JWT, encryption), and collaborate cross-functionally in a complex enterprise environment.
