Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Defence & Aerospace sectors focusing on domestic and international markets.
Manage DGFT and DDP licenses, ensure export-import compliance specifically for restricted and controlled defence products.
Coordinate bid management including RFP/RFQ handling, proposal preparations, and maintain relations with government and industry stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years experience in Business Development and EXIM functions, preferably with Defence or Aerospace exposure.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, International Trade, or related field.
Hands-on knowledge of DGFT Licensing, SCOMET, Restricted Goods Licensing, Customs Compliance and Defence Procurement.
Must be located in or willing to work from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced professional with practical expertise in defence and aerospace licensing, export controls, and government procurement processes.
Strong operational background in managing compliance for restricted goods and coordinating approvals with regulatory authorities (DGFT, Customs, MoD).
Proficient in handling bid/tender processes requiring close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including government agencies and OEMs.
