Manage and mentor a data engineering team to develop and operationalize reusable, modular data pipelines and analytics platform services within Digital Health.
Collaborate with data architects, product managers, and data scientists to design technical architectures and develop data products following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Manage third-party technology vendors and ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or related technical discipline.
Minimum 3 years leadership experience managing data engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments across the Software Development Life Cycle.
5+ years hands-on experience developing data-intensive solutions on AWS, including ETL/ELT batch and real-time streaming architectures.
3+ years experience with multiple database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data warehouses (Redshift), plus cloud data engineering tools (Kafka, Apache Airflow, Glue).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in healthcare data privacy and security regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, FDA cybersecurity, ISO, NIST, HITRUST).
Skilled in programming languages such as Python, Scala or Java and proficient with BI/Data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight).
Ability to operate in dynamic, cross-functional teams with a strategic and problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment.
