Drive enterprise-wide adherence to CRI, NIST, internal technology standards, and regulatory requirements as part of the 1st Line of Defense in technology risk.
Lead governance, risk, and compliance activities including issue management, audit support, risk acceptance oversight, policy lifecycle management, and exception management.
Provide regular status updates and metrics on risk posture, remediation progress, and audit readiness to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of 1LOD experience or 8+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
Strong knowledge of IT controls and experience managing governance and risk programs in a regulated environment.
Ability to work US Eastern time zone overlapping hours (06:00 AM – 11:30 AM ET) with flexible remaining hours.
Work Experience Required: Minimum 6 years in 1st Line of Defense for governance and risk roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in coordinating with technology, audit, compliance, and risk partners to remediate issues and respond to regulatory audits.
Proficient in managing policy lifecycles, risk acceptance processes, and exception management within financial services or consumer finance contexts.
