Own end-to-end global logistics operations including import (components, tooling, equipment) and export (finished robots, spares) across air, ocean, and inland freight modes.
Manage customs compliance, documentation, trade regulations, freight rate negotiation, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth, cost-optimized freight execution with minimal clearance delays.
Maintain logistics risk dashboard and performance scorecards to support scaling production to 200 units/year without logistics-related schedule slips.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field.
4–8 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or shipper-side EXIM operations with hands-on ownership of both import and export across air, ocean, and inland freight modes.
Strong knowledge of Indian customs procedures, documentation, HS classification, duty structure, and trade compliance obligations.
Global lane exposure beyond India required, preferably including China and US.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing complex multi-modal international logistics involving high-value, fragile, or dangerous goods such as lithium-ion batteries.
Capable of driving freight cost optimization through consolidation, mode shifts, duty schemes, and diligent vendor management with clear quantitative outcomes.
Comfortable working in startup-like environments requiring process building and using data-driven freight and landed-cost modeling tools (Excel/Sheets).
