About This Role
- Lead functional safety architecture and software development for ADAS/Autonomy SoC solutions following ISO26262 and SOTIF standards.
- Define safety concepts, safety software architecture, and requirements; implement and ensure adherence to safety processes across development cycles.
- Collaborate directly with customers, architects, test/integration teams, and quality teams to support safety audits, driving compliance and resolving issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years software development experience OR Master's degree with 4+ years OR PhD with 2+ years.
- 10-15 years industry experience in automotive systems, embedded software, and safety engineering (note: conflicting requirements present, candidate to clarify).
- 2+ years programming experience in C, C++, Java, or Python; 1+ year debugging experience including use of JTAG and oscilloscopes.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on with embedded OS like Linux, Android, QNX; experience with automotive BSP, SoC hardware (ARM architecture, peripherals, drivers).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in functional safety within automotive domain, with practical knowledge of ISO26262, SOTIF, and ASPICE standards.
- Capable of acting as a lead integrating cross-functional teams and external customers for complex safety software architecture and compliance.
- Strong software engineering background with expertise in embedded systems, hardware-software integration, and real-time operating systems relevant to SoC platforms.
