Lead functional safety architecture and software development for ADAS/Autonomy SoC solutions following ISO26262 and SOTIF standards.
Define safety concepts, safety software architecture, and requirements; implement and ensure adherence to safety processes across development cycles.
Collaborate directly with customers, architects, test/integration teams, and quality teams to support safety audits, driving compliance and resolving issues.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years software development experience OR Master's degree with 4+ years OR PhD with 2+ years.
10-15 years industry experience in automotive systems, embedded software, and safety engineering (note: conflicting requirements present, candidate to clarify).
2+ years programming experience in C, C++, Java, or Python; 1+ year debugging experience including use of JTAG and oscilloscopes.
Strong knowledge and hands-on with embedded OS like Linux, Android, QNX; experience with automotive BSP, SoC hardware (ARM architecture, peripherals, drivers).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in functional safety within automotive domain, with practical knowledge of ISO26262, SOTIF, and ASPICE standards.
Capable of acting as a lead integrating cross-functional teams and external customers for complex safety software architecture and compliance.
Strong software engineering background with expertise in embedded systems, hardware-software integration, and real-time operating systems relevant to SoC platforms.
