Lead technical troubleshooting and resolution of complex power and thermal software issues across multiple Snapdragon platforms and operating systems including Android, Linux, QNX, and virtualized environments.
Provide power and thermal design recommendations and customer-specific software solutions, driving issue diagnosis and corrective actions from initial requirements to product launch.
Perform platform-specific power and thermal characterization, analysis of performance-versus-power behavior, and support development of workload and monitoring tools for AI, multimedia, connectivity, and automotive use cases.
Minimum Requirements
B.E./B.Tech with 8+ years or M.Tech/M.S. with 6+ years or Ph.D. with 4+ years of relevant Software Applications Engineering or Embedded Systems experience.
3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role and embedded software debugging.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python along with strong experience in system-level power management including Linux or Android power management frameworks.
Experience with at least one embedded/RTOS such as Linux, Android, or QNX, and familiarity with system suspend, resume, and low-power features.

Staff-level engineer with demonstrated leadership handling cross-organizational technical issues, customer engagement, and mentoring junior engineers.
Deep expertise in Linux kernel power management, Snapdragon platform power and thermal subsystems, and virtualization in automotive/compute environments.
Proven ability to translate customer requirements into actionable software and architecture improvements and proficiency with debugging tools such as JTAG, TRACE32, kernel tracing, and power monitoring utilities.
