Lead design and delivery of complex cloud-native platform components, owning them end-to-end from design through production operation.
Serve as technical lead for major features and initiatives, translating ambiguous problems into scalable, executable designs aligned with platform architecture and strategy.
Drive technical risk resolution focused on reliability, scalability, operability, while maintaining hands-on involvement including coding, code reviews, and mentoring engineers.
Minimum Requirements
14+ years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms in production.
Demonstrated expertise with Kubernetes platform infrastructure at scale, including development of Operators, Controllers, and managing platform capabilities through deployment and operations.
Strong software engineering skills in Go and hands-on experience with Kubernetes extensions and automation tools (Kubebuilder, Operator Framework).
Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior engineer with deep Kubernetes expertise including architecture, scheduling, security, networking, and running stateful/distributed workloads.
Experience leading complex technical initiatives end-to-end and driving architectural strategy in cloud-native environments.
Hands-on operator comfortable with both managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, GKE) and self-managed clusters, including CI/CD and GitOps practices and observability implementation.
