Design, build, automate, and operate secure, scalable, cost-efficient AWS data platforms with focus on reliability and operational excellence.
Lead an SRE pod managing engineers, prioritizing work, mentoring, and driving delivery while remaining 75-80% hands-on technical contributor.
Own architecture decisions, production incident response, automation, observability, resilience, security, and cost optimization for AWS platforms.
Minimum Requirements
9 to 12 years experience in AWS cloud/platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles including hands-on and leadership experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
Proven hands-on expertise with AWS services including EKS, Sagemaker, VPC, S3, EC2, IAM, Lambda, RDS, plus Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
Experience leading technical teams or pods while maintaining hands-on involvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong strategic AWS architecture and platform engineering background with deep knowledge across AWS networking, security, compute, storage, and observability domains.
Experienced in applying SRE best practices including SLOs, incident management, automation, CI/CD, and operational metrics in complex, regulated environments.
Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, drive cross-team collaboration and delivery in Agile environments, and communicate technical trade-offs to diverse stakeholders.
