Lead the data engineering team in designing, developing, and maintaining data applications supporting Walmart's advertising and marketing platform.
Architect and implement backend solutions, collaborate with product teams to translate requirements, and enable data scientists and business partners to leverage the data platform.
Drive engineering and operational excellence, mentor junior developers, set coding standards, and monitor production to proactively resolve systemic issues.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with 3+ years software engineering experience OR 5+ years software engineering experience without degree.
Experience with data-related programming languages and frameworks such as Spark, Hive, BigQuery, Java, Python.
Experience with production and non-production environments on public/private cloud and solid Linux systems knowledge for troubleshooting complex distributed architectures.
Work Experience Required: 6+ years in relevant field (as per description); Location: Bangalore/Chennai (daily office-based with flexible personal life management).
