Director of Product Management

Lead the product vision and strategy for Core Intelligence capabilities that transform operational and physical signals into actionable insights for store operations.

Manage a portfolio of complex, data-driven, AI/ML-enabled products focused on intelligent decision-making and recommendations at scale for Target stores.

Lead and develop a team of Product Managers; collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, UX, and Store Operations to deliver measurable outcomes and reusable intelligence capabilities.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree in technology, engineering, data science, business, or related field is a plus.

8+ years of Product Management experience, preferably with highly technical, data-intensive, AI/ML, platform, or enterprise products.

Experience leading and developing Product Managers with demonstrated ability to define product strategy and manage complex product portfolios.

Strong understanding of data-driven products, AI/ML concepts, recommendation systems, and intelligent platforms.

Strategic thinker with strong systems-thinking skills able to integrate multiple technical capabilities into coherent product strategies for store operational intelligence.

Experienced in leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior leadership across geographies without direct authority.

Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and translate complex technical concepts into clear business and customer outcomes.
