Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic on mainframe systems critical to company operations.
Monitor and optimize mainframe architecture for performance; debug and troubleshoot complex system interactions.
Lead refactoring of legacy code to enable integration with modern cloud and mobile applications, supporting modernization efforts.
Minimum Requirements
5 to 14 years experience as a software engineer on complex software projects.
Proficiency in Java, Python, SpringBoot, Microservices, AWS services (S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, Stepfunctions, NoSQL DB), SQL/PL SQL, unit testing and debugging.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, REST-based web services, and microservices architecture including containers (Docker & Kubernetes).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong background in mainframe modernization and bridging legacy systems with cloud-based technologies.
Experienced in scalable software development with good problem-solving and debugging skills in modern distributed systems.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks, DevOps tools, and cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google GCP) is advantageous but not mandatory at hire.
