Lead testing strategy and execution for ETL and Reporting projects, including defining test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate requirements.
Manage and coordinate the testing team, tasks, and resources ensuring comprehensive test coverage especially for reporting KPIs against data sources like Databricks and databases.
Serve as primary liaison between development, testing teams, and clients by organizing meetings, status reporting, and issue escalation to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
Experience in testing Reporting tools, specifically Power BI.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working experience with databases such as Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, or similar.
Hands-on experience with ETL testing, data warehousing systems, and automation testing using scripting/programming languages like Python or Java.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing end-to-end testing life cycle in Agile environments using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.
Skilled in AWS services related to data processing (e.g., S3, Lambda, Athena, EMR) with practical exposure to batch and real-time data workflows.
Demonstrates strong coordination and communication capabilities to act as a single point of contact between development, testing teams, and clients for status updates and issue resolution.
