Analyze consumer and dealer credit performance to identify drivers of approval rate, booked volume, loss rate, and profitability and provide strategy recommendations.
Build, maintain, and test credit decisioning strategies balancing risk, growth, and P&L trade-offs.
Partner cross-functionally to implement strategy changes, monitor portfolio risks and dealer trends, and support credit policy governance and documentation.
Minimum Requirements
4–7 years of experience in retail/auto credit decisioning, underwriting, or credit policy execution in bank/fintech/credit analytics.
Hands-on Python and SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and synthesis into recommendations.
Strong understanding of consumer credit risk and impact of underwriting/decisioning on portfolio outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication for working with US-based stakeholders across time zones.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience with decisioning engines or rules-based platforms and operationalizing policy changes.
Familiarity with test-and-learn or challenger strategy frameworks and portfolio monitoring techniques (vintage, roll rates, segmentation).
Proven ability to manage stakeholders across time zones and produce clear decision memos and updates.
