About This Role
- Enter procedure and supply codes accurately for facilities and insurance carriers to ensure proper charge posting.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage charge capture and resolve issues causing delays in charge entry.
- Research and address system problems and track charge clarifications and holds to maintain smooth billing operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Any Graduate degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with working loops and segments in billing processes.
- Experience with clearinghouses, submitting paper and electronic claims, and handling common payer rejections.
