Design, build, and scale backend microservices and event-driven systems using Java 17+ for a high throughput, low latency platform with strict reliability and auditability.
Own end-to-end delivery including architecture decisions, production deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning on AWS services (ECS/EKS/Lambda, RDS/Aurora, MSK/Kinesis).
Ensure system reliability, fault tolerance, security compliance, and strong CI/CD practices with GitHub Actions and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana).
Minimum Requirements
9+ years professional experience in backend Java development with strong Core Java and Spring ecosystem skills (Spring Boot, Data, Security).
Hands-on AWS experience deploying and operating production services using at least 3 of: ECS/EKS/Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3, SQS/SNS/MSK/Kinesis, CloudWatch, IAM.
Proven expertise in PostgreSQL including indexing, query tuning (EXPLAIN/ANALYZE), transactions, and isolation levels.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building fault tolerant, distributed backend systems using resilience patterns (circuit breakers, bulkheads, rate limiting).
Comfortable delivering fully managed production services on AWS with CI/CD automation and modern observability practices.
Familiarity with secure coding standards, API design, and compliance requirements in domains requiring auditability and reliability.
