About This Role
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for a regulatory reporting platform.
- Validate application functionality, data quality, and system performance; identify and manage defects to resolution.
- Support test automation and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with developers, analysts, and product teams throughout delivery lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: Junior level requires basic understanding of testing principles; Senior level requires significant experience testing enterprise applications and leading testing activities.
- Mandatory location: Bangalore or Pune with hybrid working.
- Experience with software testing methodologies and defect management; interest in automation and cloud technologies preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Familiarity or experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or SpecFlow.
- Experience working in financial services, capital markets, or regulatory reporting environments preferred, especially with EMIR, MiFID II, or SFTR.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and confidently engage with stakeholders for senior roles; junior roles suited for those eager to learn and grow in quality engineering.
