Lead the definition and execution of evaluation strategies for FPGA prototypes and automotive networking ASICs from platform bring-up through system-level validation to release readiness.
Develop and maintain hardware and software evaluation platforms and automation software in C and Python, ensuring robust, repeatable, and high-quality testing.
Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, drive improvements in evaluation methodologies, and collaborate cross-functionally to address technical risks and resolve complex issues.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of relevant experience in design evaluation, silicon validation, product or systems engineering.
Strong proficiency in C and Python; experience in FPGA prototype evaluation and ASIC bench validation or characterization.
Experience with embedded systems, digital hardware integration, laboratory measurement techniques, and knowledge of Ethernet and serial interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in automotive Ethernet technologies (10BASE-T1S, single-pair Ethernet) and in-vehicle networking solutions including MAC-PHY devices and Physical Layer Collision Avoidance.
Proven ability to lead technical evaluation activities, perform root cause analysis, and communicate complex technical findings clearly to stakeholders.
Skilled in developing embedded firmware and host-side software, automating regression tests, and familiar with continuous integration and issue-tracking systems.
