Define and implement test strategy, test plans, cases, and scripts for ETL and reporting validation, ensuring alignment with requirements and data accuracy.
Manage testing team setup, task assignment, and resource coordination including hardware/software for testing environments.
Serve as primary liaison between development, testing teams, and clients; provide status reports and escalate issues to project management.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience in testing reporting solutions, specifically Power BI (PBI).
Hands-on skills in writing complex SQL queries and experience with Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, or similar databases.
Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Athena, EMR); experience in automation testing using Java or Python.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in end-to-end data warehousing testing from data modeling to reporting with strong understanding of batch and real-time data processing.
Able to define testing strategy and lead teams including training and resource management in Agile environments using tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
Capable of effectively communicating with clients and managing project requirements, status updates, and issue escalation.
